Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

FeastPlan is operated by Mitra Bilgisayar Yazilim Danismanlik Sanayi Ticaret Limited Sirketi ("FeastPlan", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, protect, retain, and delete information when you use the FeastPlan website, web application, iOS application, Android application, public guest links, QR memory albums, event file sharing, and related services.

2. Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to provide event planning, guest management, seating, invitation, memories, file sharing, and support features.

  • Account information: name, email address, phone number, password hash, verification status, language, role, subscription, and account settings.
  • Event and venue information: event names, dates, venue details, layout images, seating plans, tables, seats, guest lists, RSVP status, tags, notes, and organizer assignments.
  • Guest and participant information: guest names, email addresses, phone numbers, invitation delivery status, RSVP answers, seating assignments, guest messages, review responses, and public memory participant identity.
  • User content: event photos, guestbook comments, reactions, organizer-uploaded files, feedback, venue reviews, support messages, and optional selfie images used for Find Me photo search.
  • Device, usage, and diagnostic information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, app version, approximate request location, session activity, notification tokens, error logs, crash reports, and security audit events.
  • Payment information: plan, invoice, transaction, and billing metadata. Card numbers and payment credentials are processed by Stripe and are not stored by FeastPlan.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, secure, operate, and improve FeastPlan.
  • Create accounts, verify email or phone ownership, authenticate users, and prevent abuse.
  • Manage events, guests, venues, seating plans, invitations, RSVP, self-seating, memories, guestbook entries, reactions, file sharing, notifications, and support requests.
  • Send transactional email, SMS, push notifications, and service messages requested by organizers or required for account security.
  • Process payments, enforce plan limits, prevent fraud, and maintain accounting records.
  • Debug errors, monitor availability, measure performance, and understand feature usage without selling personal data.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. QR memories, guest identity, photos, and Find Me

FeastPlan includes QR-based memory albums. Organizers can share a public event code or QR link so guests can upload photos, write guestbook entries, react to photos, request removals, or use Find Me.

  • Guests must identify themselves before interacting. Depending on event settings, verification can use email or phone. Public pages show guest names, while email and phone details are visible only to authorized organizers and administrators.
  • Event photos and guestbook content are tied to the related event album and organizer account.
  • Find Me is optional. A guest uploads a selfie only after giving consent. The selfie is used to search approved photos in that event album and is not displayed in the public gallery.
  • Face matching may use AWS Rekognition or another configured processor. Face data is used only for the event photo search purpose and not for advertising or cross-event tracking.
  • Guests can request photo removal or revoke consent where supported by the event settings and applicable law.

5. Mobile permissions

The iOS and Android apps request permissions only when needed for a feature.

  • Camera: used when you choose to take an event photo or selfie.
  • Photo library: used when you choose a photo to upload or select a selfie.
  • Contacts: used when an organizer chooses to import contacts into an event guest list.
  • Location: used when venue discovery or nearby venue features are enabled.
  • Notifications: used for event updates, invitations, RSVP, seating, memories, messages, reviews, payments, and account notices.

6. Sharing and processors

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to operate FeastPlan, comply with law, or protect users.

  • Event participants: organizers and authorized collaborators can see event, guest, seating, file, memory, and RSVP data for events they manage. Guests may see public event information, approved photos, guest names, comments, and seating details depending on organizer settings.
  • Service providers: hosting, storage, database, email, SMS, push notification, payment, diagnostics, CAPTCHA, analytics, and optional face matching providers may process data for us. Current providers may include Microsoft/Azure or IIS hosting infrastructure, Amazon S3, AWS Rekognition, Brevo, Twilio, Infobip, Stripe, Sentry, Google/Expo/Firebase services, Apple services, and Cloudflare or similar network services where configured.
  • Legal and safety: we may disclose information if required by law, court order, regulator request, security investigation, fraud prevention, or to protect rights, users, and the service.

7. Cookies, analytics, and tracking

We use essential cookies and local storage for login sessions, language selection, security, and application preferences. We may use privacy-conscious analytics and diagnostics to understand reliability and feature use. We do not use personal data for third-party advertising, and we do not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the service, security, legal, accounting, dispute, backup, or audit purposes. Event data, photos, files, and guest data remain available while the organizer account or event is active, unless deleted by the organizer or removed under a valid privacy request. Backups and logs may persist for a limited period before automatic deletion.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data. You can manage account data in FeastPlan settings, use available guest privacy links, or contact us at [email protected].

  • Account users can request account export or deletion from the app or support.
  • Guests can request correction or removal through the organizer, available privacy links, or support.
  • Marketing emails, if any, include unsubscribe controls. Transactional messages may still be sent when required to provide the service.

10. Account deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data from the application settings or by emailing [email protected]. We may retain limited records where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, tax, accounting, or dispute handling. If you are an event organizer, deleting your account may remove or anonymize events, guest data, seating plans, photos, and files depending on legal and operational requirements.

11. International transfers

FeastPlan is operated from Turkey and may use service providers in other countries, including the European Union, the United States, and other regions. Where required, we use contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards for international data transfers.

12. Security

We use HTTPS, access controls, authentication, role-based authorization, audit logging, encrypted transport, secure password hashing, short-lived upload URLs, private storage controls, and monitoring. No internet service is perfectly secure, so we also encourage users to use strong passwords, protect devices, and limit collaborator access to trusted people.

13. Children

FeastPlan is not directed to children under 16. Organizers should not knowingly add or collect children's personal data unless they have the required consent and legal basis. If you believe a child has provided personal data without proper consent, contact us and we will review the request.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when FeastPlan changes or when legal requirements change. We will update the date above and, for material changes, provide notice through the service or another appropriate channel.
